“Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will.”

Sitting there for dinner with a candle lit was incredibly relaxing. It gives you exactly that feeling of: this is what a home in Iceland should feel like. One major advantage of being in a geothermal area is having plenty of hot water for showers. The bathroom also has a separate door leading directly to a private outdoor hot tub, which is incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, we did not manage to make proper use of it this time. Next time, I am definitely making time for it. The only thing I could not figure out was how to switch on the heated towel rack. But that is nowhere near enough to stop me giving this place a 10 out of 10."
