"My husband and I arrived to find a very clean condo, tastefully decorated. Everything appears to be well cared for and maintained. Truely the lake is steps outside the door and sitting on the little porch with coffee in the morning was so nice. Many good places to eat nearby and Bathhouse Row is 10-15 minutes away. While we didn't cook while there, we did use the coffee maker. Coffee, filters, and creamer/sugar were also generously provided. I noticed some spices in the pantry as well. As far as restaurants in the immediate area, we tried Fisherman's Wharf, Mama's Little Italy, Rise and Dine and Santorini's. (TRY SANTORINI'S- sort of a hidden gem). We hiked the first two days and kayaked the 3rd day. (We used Lucky's kayak rental and shuttle service and had a great experience). The only negative thing I could say is that there was the smell of old smoke each time we came into the condo. It reminded me of getting into a car that had been smoked in at one time. But it's not a deal breaker by any means. I hope to come back and would stay in this place in a heartbeat! If you like a very dark room to sleep in, you may want to bring eye mask. I think my eyelids are like a lizards... I can see any sort of light. Just a suggestion if you're sensitive like that. Overall we loved our time here!"

"We loved our stay at Diamonds Old West! Our cabin was great and clean. The kids loved all of the activities on site for them. There are fire pits behind each cabin so bring what you’ll need for s’mores with you including the roasting sticks. They sell firewood on site but you can also bring your own. Mining and restaurants are close. Great place to spend some time with family!"

While there are no on-site dining options, a nearby gas station is within walking distance. Additionally, the pet-friendly policy adds to the appeal of this establishment."
