This multi level accommodation was great for our family, however, not suitable for those who have limited mobility. My 90 year old grandmother was limited to her basement room as the steep stairs to the mid level living room was too much for her. Great for a small young family.

Highway 108 from Stowe to Jeffersonville takes you up through Smugglers Notch in Vermont. It is a short but amazing drive with multiple tight turns around huge boulders with towering cliffs both sides. The mountain pass section is closed in winter and best avoided year round if you have a large RV or are towing a trailer.
