“We had a wonderful time up at this Lac Vieux Desert cabin. Beautifully upgraded, very clean, great layout. While the driveway down to the lake is very steep, the heights of the cabin give great views of the lake. We loved sitting out on the deck and and enjoyed sunsets out on the dock -- even caught several fish right off the dock! We definitely hope to return!”

“We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. ”

“We stayed just 4 nights and had a nice relaxing getaway. Cabin is in a great location- close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Very pretty lake!”

“The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft……

“The cabin is beautiful, set in a rustic and peaceful location; it’s even better in person than in the photos. The interior was cozy, well-designed, with lots of thoughtful touches. We weren’t able to enjoy the water due to the cold weather, but there’s clearly plenty to do when it’s warmer outside. The hosts were super responsive and very on top of things, which we really appreciated. That said, there was a bit of a push to add extras or reminders about potential fees, which felt a little out of……

“Any issues we may have had were quickly fixed by the property manager, Eric. He was very accommodating every time I contacted him.Had a great time but it was too cold for us to utilize the pontoon boat. Would love to come back when it’s warmer. The campfire and the grill was a great added bonus. Would love to see what the other property looks like when they are done renovating. Can’t wait to come back again!”

“The inside of this cabin was advertised. It was comfortable and nice.Unfortunately the outside didn’t give us what we wanted. The sauna didnt work and was not cleaned out. The pathway to it was very uneven and dangerous with broken off posts, and there no walking trails.”

“Was an excellent peaceful location. Located in a cute little town. Was wonderful to wake up right next to the lake. Many windows to see the wonderful outdoors. Is close enough to everything, if wanting to head up to Michigan or other norther parts of Wisconsin. Will definitely be staying again. ”

“We had a great week at Bass Lake! The cabin was a perfect space for 7 of us! The lake was beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed campfires and lots of fishing off the dock. Perfect for kids. There is not a public boat launch on the lake keeping it very quiet. The cabin does have its own boat launch, however, we weren’t able to launch our pontoon due to our bunk trailer and the depth of the water. This is not a complaint by any means, just a heads up for others bringing larger boats. We spent……
