Clean, tidy and welcoming hotel. Short walk to local shops and markets. Heavy traffic all around ; crazy driving and mopeds everywhere. Friendly staff and people; shout out to the welcoming and friendly security staff.

In the hotel, although some of the decorations were tacky because of Lunar New Year. Which has the power because it was close to the Historic Dutch colonial area of Jakarta, which was huge disappointment. The doorman insisted on calling us a taxi instead of letting us go to the street, said it would be four minutes, and 15 minutes later said the taxi had canceled and he would call another. We walked out in the street and held a taxi in less than one minute. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and extensive.

Great value for money

The rooms were fab and in a good location in Jakarta. The breakfast was great. Bar service was poor. We were sat for cocktails and ended up just leaving as no one came back to actually serve us. We have a late evening flight and we used the pool all afternoon and showered there. It was ideal.

Hotel is good but its surroundings are horrible

The hotel itself is great, it’s new, and clean. They have an issue with the food though, their main food rush hour is lunch, so when you have your daily paid for breakfast, even though it ends at 10am, by 9am, nothing is refilled as much, the food and drinks start to get cold. The staff are friendly but you feel they start to look at their watches starting at 9am, and you get the feeling that you came late and should in a kind way.. leave. The location of the hotel is horrible, only fathalla square is close by but there isn’t much that’s in good clean shape that is a walking distance, it’s at least 20-30min walk.

Cleaning is really not good. Had hair in the sink and around it when arrived, there were no hand towels and cleaning during the stay was not good... The hotel room was refurbished and looked nice, but internet bandwidth and acoustic from other rooms were not good.

Area is ok and you are close to Cafe Batavia which is really nice but other than that not much to do around. The same with breakfast, some local items are there but other you have to request for so not ideal.

Woke up to cockroaches in my bed. Terrible experience. Hotel moved me to a new room. I reported this to hotels.com and have yet to be contacted by customer service. I also never received an apology by any hotel management.

部屋は清潔で、レストランのスタッフやその他のスタッフなどは親切。コタ　ジャカルタ駅を利用したりする人には、便利。地元の食事意外は、KFCが2箇所しかない。 過去のコメントにもあったが、部屋は清潔に確かに思えるし、テレビま大きく快適だが、フェイスタオル、バスローブそして、ミネラルウォーターはない。注文すれば、ポットに入れた水を運んできてくれる。色々、経費を削減しながら、よく丁寧にやっていると思うから、ちょっと残念なところがある。

Op loopafstand van het oude centrum. Weinig leuke eetgelegenheden in de directe omgeving. Mooie badkamer en een goed bed. Europees ontbijt wat beperkt qua keuze. Heel aardig personeel. We hadden lichte lekkage vd airco op onze kamer. Helaas was het de eerste keer niet verholpen. Opnieuw aangegeven bij de receptie en er kwam meteen een monteur die de klacht verholpen heeft. We kregen een andere kamer aangeboden maar dat hoefde niet van ons aangezien we de dag erop weer verder zouden reizen

Kamer was schoon, maar voelde niet hygiënisch. meerdere dagen achter elkaar hebben we meerdere beestjes gevonden. De badkamer leek heel vies, maar dat komt door de kalkaanslag van het water dat anders is als dat we gewend zijn. De koelkast werkte niet en lekte. De kluis had een error met onze spullen erin. Het personeel was super behulzaam en kwam gelijk helpen met de kluis. Toen ze de koelkast zagen wilden ze dat ook gelijk oplossen. Het restaurant was alle dagen heel koud. De airco werkt dus goed, maar het was erg onprettig. Het is ons opgevallen dat het bedienend personeel in java het niet gewend om na de eerste bestelling op te nemen terug naar de tafel komt om te vragen hoe het smaakt en of je nog wat te drinken wilt. Het hotel loopt hier een hoop geld mee mis. Als je het hotel vergelijkt met andere accomodaties in de regio is het het top hotel.

Het begon al bij het inchecken. Wij stonden niet in het systeem, ondanks dat ik duidelijk kon aantonen dat ik had gereserveerd. Wij kregen een kamer die bedoeld was voor twee personen, terwijl wij met vier personen waren. Elke avond moesten wij om handdoeken vragen; op de laatste avond hebben wij drie keer gebeld en zijn wij meerdere keren langs de receptie gegaan, maar zonder resultaat. Daarentegen waren de beveiligers en ander personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De hygiëne liet ook te wensen over; er waren insecten op de kamer. Het werd niet goed schoongemaakt en sommige plekken waren gewoon vies, schimmel in de douche en wc rol werd niet aangevuld. Het ontbijt was prima, met voldoende keuze. De omgeving is erg afgelegen en ligt midden in een soort sloppenwijk. 's Avonds is er niets te doen.

Excellent hotel in Old Town Jakarta

This was an add on day to my original five day stay I enjoyed the hotel and the staff, especially Tarysa and Erna at the front desk, Julia at the restaurant and Nisa from the Spa and situated in the Old Town the location was ideal for me
