"This was my absolute worst hotels.com experience hands down. The room was so dirty that I tried to cancel my reservation, a first ever. And I’ve stayed in some funky places but this takes the cake. The furniture had crusty stains like 3-D stains, the remote control was covered in some kind of sticky goo, sheets stained, burn holes in the blanket, bathroom was a nightmare. "We (Me, mom, and 2 sisters) flew to Oakland to celebrate my aunt's birthday. This rental fit our needs perfectly. 15 minutes from Oakland airport and 20 minutes to Jack London Square. The kitchen is spacious and the dining room table is big enough to seat extended family who visited us. We appreciated having outdoor entertaining space. The 2 bedroom addition is immaculate! Nice big beds and TV's in every bedroom. The water pressure was good and the AC worked perfectly. Everyone was impressed with the layout and decor. We felt very safe in the rental. It's on a city block with the convenience of a driveway. No issues with neighbors. I've already shared the listing with family who will be traveling to Oakland in the future. Highly recommend. "

"We booked this property on fairly short notice after another reservation was canceled on us, and we felt fortunate to find such a nice spot to be our home base for our daughter's dropoff for her first year at UC Berkeley. The safe and beautiful location was ideal for our last-minute Target/Ikea/etc. runs and it was easy to get DoorDash and enjoy home meals with the gorgeous view. We also had some nice meals out, especially dinner at Lake Chalet on Lake Merritt and lunch outdoors at Broderick Roadhouse in Walnut Creek, as well as Super Duper Burgers near campus for a quick and convenient meal. If you're hoping to use the pool, be ready to use the skimmer because it's beautifully wooded around the property, and splurge on the heating option because even in late August it was chilly without.Our hosts were super polite and responsive and we can see why they will soon be achieving super host status!"

"Our host was incredible. Great communication and willingness to help out if we needed anything- which we did not as she had already provided everything we could need. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The decor is fabulous and every room, nook & cranny were made for visual and physical comfort. The view! Amazing and such a gift at the end of long days. We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back! We highly recommend this property and host. "
