The Neighborhood: Rancho Respiro offers deep desert seclusion while remaining just a short drive from the cultural heart of the High Desert. ◎ Joshua Tree Village (Shops & Dining) – 10 minutes ◎ Joshua Tree National Park Entrance – 15 minutes ◎ Yucca Valley (Groceries & Vintage) – 10 minutes ◎ Pioneertown & Pappy & Harriet’s – 20 minutes ◎ The Integratron – 25 minutes ◎ Palm Springs – 50 minutes Getting Around: This is a remote location down dirt roads, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain. Other Things to Note: ◎ POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING: The hot tub is always free to heat. However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating, see below. If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know 48 hours before you arrive. ◎ Extra Charges for Pool Heating: ✓ May / September: $150 per night ✓ October / April: $200 per night ✓ November / December / March: $350 per night ✓ January / February: $350 per night No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. Maximum of 2 Dogs allowed. No other types of animals are authorized. ◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown.
