OCEAN FRONT: spacious, remodeled 4th floor condo

  • This ocean-front, ocean-view condo is a vacation favorite for families and friends. Maui Sunset Resort is one of the premiere resorts in Kihei. The resort has beautifully trimmed grounds, a family-friendly pool and hot tub, shuffle board. County maintained tennis courts and pickle ball courts are close by! The unit is spacious, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

    Our condo, on the fourth floor, is ideally located on the oceanfront end of the resort. An elevator will take you to the ground floor, where you are a 1 min walk to Sugar Beach, and you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean from within the condo. Enjoy dinner at the large eat-in island inside or on the smaller outdoor dining on the lanai.

    Alongside Maui Sunset is the longest beach on Maui, Sugar Beach. With a nearly 5 miles stretch of continuous sand, Sugar Beach is a great beach for a morning run or a romantic evening walk.

    Within walking distance of the condo are restaurants, and convenient style shopping, while Costco and the airport are a short 20 min drive away. Kihei is also a great central location for any of your day trips around the island.

We had a party of 9 (3 adults and 6 kids). All the children slept in one room (x4 double bunk beds, can sleep 8), and the adults slept in the other rooms. We could see the ocean from the main bedroom, the living/kitchen and the lanai! The bar counter could seat 10, easily, and it was just a really comfortable place for a family, and it would be great for multiple small parties. We loved the pool, the cleanliness of the lawn and outdoor facilities, how close we were (walking distance) to beaches/town. We would stay here again.

Amazing location! Great place in general but… we were a party of 8, as they knew and there was basically no dish soap, we had to buy more as well as not enough toilet paper and we had an issue with a battery with one of our fans/lights in the room and I messaged the number I was told and no one ever got back to me! I had to go by my own batteries so that I could have a fan and a light!

This property was amazing. I have a large family with many children, and there was plenty of space for everyone.The view was spectacular; we woke up to the sound of the ocean and ended each day watching the sunset and whales breaching. While my kids loved the heated pool and jacuzzi, they spent most of their time surfing and looking for turtles on the beach. Additionally, the kitchen provided ample space to cook large meals and gather as a family.We always stay in Kihei because it matches the relaxed atmosphere we look for in Hawaii, and this is by far the best accommodation we have found in the area.

It was a wonderful property for our family of 6 to share-The lanaii views of the water and sunsets are amazing-The kitchen was spacious -accomodated all of nicely for cook-outs from the grills on the grounds.Totally enjoyed our beach walks from the property -pool and sauna nice -and the atmosphere is very family oriented.Highly recommend!

BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Great to see the ocean and sunset from a spacious balcony. Large open kitchen and living room had plenty of space. The grass was like a golf green, perfectly manicured. Everything very clean. We loved our stay!

We had a great stay for a wedding at sugar beach. Some updates are high end but then other small details (like the bed, bedding/sheets) are not... overall of course it was perfect for our group and I would recommend it highly.

Fantastic Condo in a great complex and location!

We will definitely be coming back! The unit is beautiful, modern, clean and secure. We cam on a family vacAtion (5 adults) and had plenty of room to relax. The unit is well updated, clean and modern. The pool is well kept. The beach access is fantastic. A great place to stay!

Great condo, Fabulous Location!

This Condo had it all! We loved it so much and would 100% stay there again! We watched whales right from the balcony every single night and morning! There was tons of space, it was clean and everything worked as advertised! Highly recommend!
