Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. “Perfect escape on the lake! Location was perfect, views amazing, home spotless, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. Check in smooth, as was all communication with our host. Beautiful dock, beach area with plenty of seating, kayaks and floats. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this beautiful lakefront home. “This is an old farmhouse with lots of character. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfy. The kitchen is well-stocked. It is a 15 minute walk to town (on the lakefront) but you get to walk by beautiful homes and gardens. Lacy is a very responsive landlord. Would not hesitate to return.”

“Plenty of space in and outside, and plenty to do at the house. The view was beautiful. The air conditioning was great. We could not find an oven mitt, but other than that the kitchen was equipped with what we needed. We were happy with our stay and would book it again!”

“The farmhouse is exactly as pictured and described- it's cute, it has charm, it has creaky floors! If you're a light sleeper, be aware you'll hear the floors! I would suggest bringing a child gate or two for the stairs or a bedroom for younger kids. Ann, the owner, makes check-in super easy. The street is quiet and peaceful. The drive to Taghannock Falls Park and the viewing site are super close. Getting to downtown Ithaca took only about 15 minutes including time to park. Nice place to...

“Nice farmhouse with a great view. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Kitchen is big with an attached dining area. Front porch is nice to watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage. The firepit is great (would recommend removing the tree blocking the view of the lake from the firepit). Best thing is the house was well stocked with all the paper products you need (minus kleenex), garbage bags, coffee, firewood, laundry needs and soap.”

“We had a great stay at this Farmhouse. There was plenty of room and amenities. The location had gorgeous views of lake and wildlife and it was close to wineries and dining. The house was clean and the host was pleasant and easy to contact. We would stay here again.”

“Super walkable to Aurora Brewery and nearby Longpoint Winery. There are some friendly cats that live at the brewery and hung out with us in the backyard when we played croquet. The house was clean and charming!”

“We were not aware or informed prior to our stay of extreme water leak damages, uncleaned toilets /bathroom, broken bed, fire pit, pool, hot tub (waiting on a piece), poor water systems and smell. We had to purchase cleaning supplies, bedding and water for cooking, washing dishes and to brush our teeth to sustain during our committed stay.
