"The Protea Hotel Tyger Valley was Magical. In the perfect location with breathless views of the entire city of Cape Town including the beautiful Table Mountains. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and neat with everything one needs soft cozy beds and the best sheets silky and soft. The staff were amazing from the speedy check in with a wonderful reception from Busiswe and Mpho. The resturant was amazing the food delicious I started with the Calamari which was so soft tender and juicy. The server Melanie was exceptional so helpful and kind and caring. Providing exceptional care and information about Cape Town. The Hotel was in perfect distance form the downtown area an Uber was a quick ride to all the perfect spots. "Fantastic location- had been worried it may be a little noisy bit it was absolutely no issue at all. Super comfy room, best sheets and shower ever!! Used the pool area which is quite small but enough, and enjoyed breakfast outside most mornings- lovely. Great assistance from all the team there but stand out colleague Shane- great tips and recommendations and a really genuine nature about him. Would absolutely revisit!"
