9.2/10 Wonderful! (5 reviews)
The main issue was spending 1.5 hours trying to find the place. Only 10 -15 mins walk from New St station, but walked round blocks several times, asked people etc to no avail. Post code inaccurate. Started to think we'd been scammed! Eventually asked at Enclave reception if they knew where StayCozy were. Chap explained that our apartment was one of several sublet by StayCozy within their building. If any issues contact StayCozy, but no contact details provided with booking. (Should have a sign in their window!) Room itself v nice, seems brand new. Some snags: ceiling lights flickered every few mins, (might be issue if you have seizures), tv needed me to login to view, but I didn't want to leave my details for next person! No WiFi & poor Internet access unless near main windows (wifi code should be given by reception); vent fans didn't work in bathroom or kitchen; towel rail didn't work; radiators didn't come on despite trying to update settings. No 'welcome manual' to explain how things work eg Diswasher and contact details. No point having qr code to scan if no Internet access. Supply of towels was for duration of stay, we were there for 3 days. Building is 27 floors high in one section & 8 floors where we were. Communal rooms on top floor incl 'music room', library, social area with board games & table football. No obvious parking so would need to check if coming by car. Local shop nearby for supplies, plenty of Asian restaurants to eat in / take out.
