Big spaces, comfy beds & en suite baths, great sound system, and a table to fit all 17 of us -- lovely lake trail, proximity to gorgeous waterfall hike, and not far from town if we needed anything we'd forgotten. Hosts were so easy to work with -- we had a wonderful time, highly recommend!

Bend Family Getaway
The Lodge at Tumalo Lake was large and comfortable and a good place for our family reunion. The kitchen was very well stocked. The place is a little off the beaten path, but it didn't seem to matter that much. There's so much to do in and around Bend and the family took advantage of that. One disappointment was that only one kayak and one paddle board was available the whole week for us to use on the lake.....the others that were supposed to be there were missing, presumably taken by other renters in the area. It would have been nice to have a big screen TV that could play our personal family videos and music. Still, it was a good experience.

10/10 Will Stay Again!
Our stay in Bend was incredible! The house is amazing and met all of our needs as a group of 12 adults and 1 infant. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need and the beds were very comfortable. The house itself is gorgeous! We had a storm creep up on us in early April that we were not expecting which made accessing the house a little more difficult, but those of us with AWD or FWD were able to come up easily. Bill met us at the house and gave us a tour. Bill assured us that their team would be up early each day plowing the road as needed. They even came each morning and scraped the snow off the deck for us. Loved everything about staying here!

One of a kind
An excellent property and house every accommodation you could think of. We used the spa, the sauna, the fire pit by the lake the kind of scenery out of a movie. We were aware before arriving the owners, who are very nice, but require access to the house for the laundry room just keep that in mind! They did a great job clearing snow for us and keep the road plowed

Great Lodge! Each room has a bathroom which is amazing! Owners very responsive and friendly. House equipped with all you need. Two things on description of lodge that we overlooked....pay close attention- NO AIR CONDITIONING (house stayed pretty cool high 70's when 90's outside) and if renting ground floor level, cleaners and owners have access anytime even if you are staying there!!! Owner comes around daily....

So beautiful and relaxing
Our family of 16 enjoyed every moment of our time at this beautiful property. So much room and the amenities were perfectly thought out for a large group. Two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two ovens, and plenty of bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the home is extremely clean. We loved the lake, kayaks, canoes, and boats. The hike around the lake was amazing! The waterfall is spectacular and so close to the property. The river tubing was nice and exciting. There are so many fun things to do in Bend.

Fantastic property, well designed space for large group
Amazing property, we had 12 adults and used every bedroom except for the twin bedroom. I wouldn’t have wanted more adults even though it said it sleeps 20. I think max would be 14 or 7 couples. Design of house is great with individual space to get away and great socializing space. We will be back.

Incredible Stay
After a year and a half, my family of 16 finally got together for a week at this incredible home. The home had plenty of room for all including 2 babies, 5 kids and 9 adults (we rented the additional downstairs and it worked out great!). The setting is so wonderfully private. The lake is beautiful and everyone enjoyed taking the boats out. They have lifejackets in different sizes (even down to 30 lbs) which was a nice surprise. There is trail that goes around the lake, and for further hiking, Tumalo Falls/Creek area is a short 5-7 minute drive away. There are also mountain biking/hiking trails that start at the end of the driveway into the lodge. I highly recommend the lodge for an unforgettable family vacation.

Great family getaway
My family and neighbor's family decided to take a short family trip together during the current quarantine time. The ability to be in a large home together with a hot tub, corn hole, board game room, a private lake equipped with paddle boards and kayaks, was a perfect weekend family getaway from the city. Both our families, including 11 adults and children, had all the bedroom space and bathrooms we needed. The large kitchen allowed for easy meal prep, and there was plenty of space for all of us to sit together for our meals (indoors and out). We saw a multitude of stars as well as a few shooting stars (we were there after the peak of a perseid meteor shower) while taking a late evening dip in the hot tub. The kids were amazed by the amount of stars they can see when not in the city. For not being able to travel as usual this summer, this short trip made us realize that we do not need to go far to be surrounded with beauty. The owners are hospitable and know the area well. All in all, I highly recommend the lodge and cabins here. This is our second time visiting the property in the past few years. Note - We made the mistake to have a local friend with a dog come by for a visit, and dogs aren't allowed to even wait outside the household. So no dogs on the property.
