Levering Vacations from $693

i purchased a lakeview room and it was well worth the extra charge. I had a very nice balcony with table and chairs. the balcony overlooked a golf course and beyond that was a beautiful view of Mackinac Bridge and Lake Michigan. Also watched fireworks that were visible from my balcony that were set off in Mackinac city. room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower however had no grab bar or non-slip mats.

I thought that the room was super cute. And in a great location. The staff was super helpful when I reached out to them to understand the check in process more. I did miss actually talking to people and felt a little more stressed having to wait for a message through Expedia about the room number and check in but I was glad that when I reached out to the staff right away the said that I would receive the room number and code an hour before check in. The only two issues with my stay was the shower was not draining properly in the shower it’s pretty clogged and when we went to the front office area to use the ice machine it was broke. But other than that everything was great and now that I understand the check in and check out process I would stay there again. I also ran into the cleaning lady when hauling my stuff to the car and wanted to mention how she was super friendly.

It was the little touches from the personalized note to wonderful selections of beverages and snacks in my room. The dinner menu, though brief, had variety. I had a new item, ricotta on sour dough toast.........it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, I will be sure to recommend.

Hot tub and pool were nice. Out TV sound was broken, but staff brought a new TV for us and responded right away. Jackie was friendly and helpful. Don't order through Expedia though, it's way more expensive than going through the hotel directly!!

Compact with everything we needed (but no shampoo or shower gel). Only a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal which is a big plus (no parking worries). Our only negative was the loud noise of the fridge compressor overnight.
