Mackinac Bridge Tours

The outside of the property was beautiful but the inside of the motel was old and small. Very expensive considering how old it is.

We chose this hotel bc it had an outdoor pool and allowed dogs. Unfortunately not much went right here. We arrived at 10:30pm after a very long drive and they informed us they had overbooked their rooms and didn’t have the type of room we booked. They ultimately did give us the room we booked, but I understand now why they didn’t want to. The smell was awful - and I mean anwful, and the couch and chairs didn’t have covers on the cushions. The room was not cleaned well. There were the previous guests Bobby pins all over the floor, hair clips, dead bugs on the floor. The floor was sticky and the carpet stained and filthy. The pool was small but nice. Pool seemed clean. That said, they consistently had no towels and the towels they would provide were the size of large washcloths. I work in customer service and dislike having to leave negative reviews, but this one was worthy.

The staff was very helpful. There were issues with the use of the TV but the staff was helpful with this.
