“If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. ”

“The staff was very understanding when we had to leave a day early due to a medical emergency. Refunded our money. The chalet was clean and well maintained inside. Wood interior was beautiful. Roomy enough for two people. Only complaint was the very very very firm mattress and “flat” pillows. Hard to get comfortable. Close to ferries and downtown. Everything we needed was within walking distance.”

“Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.”

“The view from the 3rd floor was amazing. The room was beautiful. The only thing was the carpet was so filthy it ruined a pair of my pink socks. I just the them out. And the windows on the slider was pretty dirty. But the cleaning that was done by the maids was perfect. Maintenance needs to get the windows cleaned as well as the carpet. The front desk pale were so nice and kind. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“It was the little touches from the personalized note to wonderful selections of beverages and snacks in my room. The dinner menu, though brief, had variety. I had a new item, ricotta on sour dough toast.........it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, I will be sure to recommend.”
