Very clean inside and out. The rooms were great, well kept up and large with a separate seating area etc. The staff I dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. With limited options in the Lexington area, I would think this is one of the best. Not much for amenities but that didn't bother me at all. It is near a mall with a few eating options within walking be we ventured downtown and found a great restaurant.

The front desk and cleaning staff were great. More attention needs to be made to hallways - older carpet, trash outside of rooms, outdated key entry, tv channels not include espn, no welcome folder with nearby restaurants, etc.

They were in the process of remodeling and refreshing rooms. My room was musty smelling with air conditioning that did not function reliably. There was food (a fried shrimp) on the floor under a chair. There was an associated bug problem. I slept with all the lights on to deter any additional bugs (roaches) from appearing at night. The staff were nice and the breakfast area had a 100% rating so the lack of cleanliness was not pervasive. Overall it was a bad experience. I will not return.

On first day I arrived my security lock was broken. The hindges were loose. You can hear people slam doors and tvs running in every rm. One second night the shower tub bar had a whole in it. Had two bugs that I saw in my rm but didnt complain about the bugs. One was an ant and the other looked like a beetle of some sort. They did offer to let me switch rooms but since I was only there 2 nights didnt worry about it. Not impressed with the breakfast either. Since I wasnt from this area I asked about places to eat and one very young guy had no idea of what was around. Not useful. Staff was nice. Will be staying somewhere else next time. Hotel needs improvement.

The property has a nice outdoor pool and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are showing significant wear though. The sofa in my room looked like a cat had used it as a scratching post and I’ve seen furniture in fraternity houses with fewer stains on the upholstery. A few things brought into question the cleanliness of the room as well. The floor was noticeably sticky, along with the tops of furniture. The sheets and pillows had a persistent damp feeling to them. Finally, there was an opened bar of soap in the shower when I arrived. The Quality Inn brand, as well as other Choice Hotels brands used to signify well maintained and clean properties. Not just with this particular property, but others under this brand seem to have declined over the last few years.

I would just like to say that I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I only stayed one night, but they were more than happy to help me with any needs that I had. The staff was friendly and my room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. I would stay here again for sure.
