“Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

“We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. “Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. ”

“We stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We can’t recommend this place enough. ”
