“This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Islander on the beach in the Hawaii building. It has a view of the water but not direct on the boardwalk so it’s much more private. Being on the 3rd floor you can leave the slider door open and hear the ocean. This unit was great with having the extra table holding the microwave it gave you more counter space by the sink. The refrigerator was big enough to hold our snacking foods but we ate dinners out. We didn’t use the bbq’s near the pool. Safeway is only a……

Walking distance to the coconut marketplace, a pool with a bar and a killer happy hour from 3-6pm, walking distance to hukilau lanai, beautiful path to walk along the beach, so close to sleeping giant hike and other attractions - we LOVED it here!! The room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had so many useful amenities. We can’t wait to come back!!”

One ought to know that unless you plan on staying 100% time at the resort, you will need a car and parking there is 35/day charged by the resort. This was more expensive than the car rental itself! (We got a sweet deal) Wish this was disclosed more obviously in the listing.”
