The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed eager to assist if it was needed. The rooms are nothing fancy but had all we needed since we were there for hiking and not just lounging at the hotel. We loved that the hotel still uses actual room keys inside of swiping a card, it made it feel home-y! We had an excellent stay and would gladly stay here again!

Our room itself was nice. We had a first floor garden view room that had a beautiful lanai that walked out to the lawn area. The property, however is under major construction. We had difficulty getting around it, and much of the amenities were unavailable or very limited. The pool area was nice. There was no pest problems while we were there, which can be an issue in Hawaii. The poolside bar was open very limited hours so we never got to enjoy it. They did not have much lighting in many of the outside areas at night which made it sketchy since we were off the beach. Overall, it is a nice place that will no doubt be a great place once the construction is done. We liked the convenience of being between the north and south shore and very close to the airport, although we didn’t notice the planes overhead much.
