“The hotel is located in an old and beautiful former home of one of the Porcelain Barons for whom the city is renowned. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional but for the check-in process. They sent an email written totally in French around 3pm the afternoon we were due to check-in providing us with the electronic building and individual room door access codes. Of course, we were driving into the city and did not see this email. Fortunately there was a phone number on the reception room door……

“This is a fantastic gite. I think the owner has thought of everything, it is so well equipped. (There is no washing machine, but that is clear in the description, and there is one on site that we could use).We had been evacuated from the forest fires in the South and the owner, Cedric, was very kind and was able to accommodate us for 2 nights.The house is spotless, so comfortable, well-designed and in a beautiful setting. The shared pool is lovely, clean and warm - it was such a joy and relief……
