“I had an excellent experience. The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems. The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception. The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm. It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t lightning-fast, but it was sufficient—I even managed to host a phone meeting one morning. The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable and clean. “Obviously anywhere that makes their own sour dough bread, is the place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Pascale. Lovely welcome, great room, quiet and plenty of space. Good shower. Breakfast - apart from the Kelloggs offering- yuk…_is freshly made and a good selection. The location of Cawthorne House is brilliant, easy to walk into the centre. Nice walk to Thornton-le-Dale. Also has a car park round the back, so handy.”
