Room was basic. Did the job. Wasn't given a towel on check in. And then charged £1 for the pleasure of using it. How generous! Just think this is penny pinching really what's the need to charge for a towel and for luggage storage when you're paying £72 for the night? Very unnecessary penny pinching that I think just loses a bit of goodwill regardless of whether it tells you this beforehand or not. Rooms have a ventilation system which generates noise all the time. Bunk beds as expected. Communal areas ok. Close to night life quarters and amenities (e.g. Cathedral). Busy rooms, so a bit of luck needed to avoid snoring guests.
