"Our family had such a nice time! Pontoon ride, the grandkids caught their first fish off of the dock, we went for a walk, lots of bonfires. each level of the cabin provided privacy. The porch was used a lot for legos & reading books. A baby gate would be nice for the lower level stairs or note to bring one with you. One thing we should mention to the owners: the dishwasher doesn’t seem to clean the dishes very well. But, the accommodations were very nice & well thought out. Very comfortable!We hope to come back someday! The Finger Family"

"We recently stayed at the Country Inn in Walker, MN, and from the moment we walked through the door, our experience was wonderful. Check-in was quick and friendly — the staff greeted us warmly, explained all the hotel services, and told us about the complimentary breakfast. Our room was spacious, spotless, and in excellent condition, with thoughtful touches like a mini-fridge, whirlpool tub, roomy desk, and plenty of towels. We especially loved the little rubber duckie gift for social media photos — such a fun idea! The hotel itself was clean and inviting throughout. Although we didn’t use the pool or hot tub, both looked well maintained and appealing. Breakfast the next morning exceeded expectations, with a wide variety of hot and cold options — scrambled eggs, cheesy potatoes, maple sausage, cereals, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, and more. The dining area was large and spotless, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, our stay was delightful in every way. We highly recommend the Country Inn in Walker to anyone visiting the area — it’s a comfortable, friendly, and well-run place to stay."
