“We had a very disappointing experience with this VRBO rental. Before our stay, we unfortunately had a death of a horse and needed to cancel. The host declined our request and only offered a 50% refund, which put us in a difficult position. Since we couldn’t recover most of our money, we decided to go ahead with the trip anyway.
Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the home was far below expectations. There were dishes in the drying rack on the counter. Newspapers all over the counter. Dirty sponge……

“Don't overlook this property if you're going to Rockford! There were many positives we experienced with both the property and hosts. We were happy to have access to the EV charger. It's pretty powerful too! The hosts were responsive to my misunderstanding with removing an adapter, going out of their way to quickly remedy the situation, and follow up to make sure it was working.There's a fire pit out back, a pretty nice set up with chairs and plenty of firewood available to burn! If time allowed……

“Very clean! Each bed has 4 fluffy pillows, very comfortable beds. Each bedroom has a tv, very nice! Nice game room. We really enjoyed our stay and will return when we are in Rockford. Only negative for larger groups: This did not affect us, there were only 3 of us. However, there are only 3 bath towels and 1 beach towel. ”
