“The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……

“First trip to Italy...location of the hotel was perfect. Monica was friendly and helpful...room was clean ....air conditioning welcome....Breakfast.....was ok but never had to go to another premises for it (was at a cafe round the corner which wasn't explained when booking). “Very pleasant and responsive hosts. Unfortunately we were there during a heatwave and it was quite uncomfortable with no aircon, especially overnight. The mosquitoes are really bad, the owners kindly provided repellent equipment but we'd already been eaten! The pool is nice and we had it to ourselves everyday. The kitchen could do with more cooking utensils (no wooden spoons). Nice location. You need a car here.”
