“This is a country style inn, with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. A lot of nice touches. We did not have to go to the store for coffee, creamer, condiments, etc. The host answered questions promptly. Very quiet area with a great little country store and thee Birdsong Cafe next door.”

“Nice bright studio in a lovely and tranquil setting. The unit is cozy and comfortable with nice little touches including several options for making coffee, a small fridge, toaster oven & microwave. Plentiful towels and basic toiletries on hand. Location is perfect, close to highway entrance and small shopping center. Gracious hosts who went out of their way (shoveling after a snow storm and ensuring walkway was accessible) to make it a great stay.”

“Great place for 2 couples to relax and enjoy the fall sights.Only problem was the master bedroom bath. The bathtub drain was blocked and took 30 minutes to drain the water. Property owner was unable to get a plumber over the weekend, so I removed the stopper cleaned a lot of hair and waste, replaced the stopper and bathtub drained real good after that. ”

“Hemlock Knowle Farm was the perfect place for our weekend visit. We were in town for a wedding in nearby Sharon, and the apartment was absolutely lovely, had a beautiful view of the barn and was very well stocked with everything we could have needed. “The Canaan apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge and has enough counter space to cook. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient. “It was perfect for our 4 day stay. There were 5 adults and we managed just fine with one full bath ( & a half bath) a queen bed and 2 bunk beds. It was so close to everything.The property was clean & cozy. We loved the gas stove for heat. The property owner is a great communicator and offers a wonderful property.”

“The property is in a great location, right across the street from main street and many bars/restaurants. It is also in the heart of PSU student housing so the area has a lot of foot traffic and bar traffic. The property is not fancy, and the decor is outdated. The property offers a large space for your group to spread out but their is only 1 bathroom and the shower is quite small. The floors are somewhat slanted as the building is from the 1800's and upstairs carpet should be replaced....
