"I booked a last minute reservation and was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful! My room was large and I had a porch that looked out into a small pond and a park that had picnic tables. There were many areas throughout the hotel to socialize, including an outdoor area with a fire pit. Large game room in the second floor. Indoor pool on the ground level. Staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent location opposite Quechee Gorge; quaint, charming old-time Inn; very quiet. The on-premises restaurant was outstanding, both in terms of the food and the serving staff. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our dinner and next morning's excellent breakfast. On the minus side, the air conditioner cycled on/off frequently in short, annoying bursts. The room furniture was eclectic and dated, although the bed was comfortable. The old plank floors creaked noisily, which didn't really bother us, but we wondered how anyone happening to occupy the room beneath us would have felt about the noise."
