"From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to arrival. The drive up to the hilltop village is breathtaking! Be certain to follow the owners directions for an easy drive from Aquasparta. We were greeted upon arrival by the owners who were incredibly warm and friendly. They even presented us with a beautiful pastry, olive oil from his trees and a bottle of premium of Umbrian wine. The house (tower) dates from 1000AD and even has a medieval dagger displayed that was discovered during renovations! The house is large and spacious, beautifully decorated and offers beautiful views of the mountainous countryside from the rooftop terrace. We have never stayed at a cleaner vacation rental, even the sheets were ironed. There is a lovely fireplace to enjoy on a chilly evening. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you would ever need. The tiny village offers peace and tranquility. The owners were at our disposal and even came to check up and see how we were doing. It is a perfect base for exploring Umbria. We were sad to go and it was the highlight of our month in Italy. We look forward to our return! Graziemille!"

"As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby Sangemini for better Italian restaurants and atmosphere. Be sure you’ve well understood directions to villa since GPS misguided couple of us."
