I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely recommend it. Although it’s a bit further from the city center, the street it’s located on is quite pleasant. I particularly liked the small opening window that acts like a mini balcony. Unfortunately, we had booked a two-bedroom room but were given a single-bed room instead. However, the hotel staff was very accommodating and upgraded our room for us. The reception staff could be a bit more friendly, though.

I had an Extraordinary stay in NH hotel Madrid Abascal. The staff were outstanding in every area: reception, bellmen, breakfast. With a very covenient location, close to public transportation. I had an upgrade to a superior room with a terrace tha was simply stunning (the shower, 2 flat tv, king size super comfy bed, bathrobe and slippers, the toiletries in the bathroom, in room nespresso coffee machine and natural herb teas, steam iron). Breakfast was delicious. You made my short stay in Madrid very special. Thank you!!

Very nice hotel, as are most NHs. Location is good, depending on what you're aiming at. This one worked well for my purposes. The breakfast was really good. The girls at the front desk are always super nice as per European standards, and very pretty. Too bad NH's loyalty program doesn't work when booking through Expedia. I'd already have enough points for a weekend in Madrid! Anyway, good stay.

This was a small hotel with pretty architectural details. Our room was on the small side but had a cliset, safe and fridge/bar/snack area. The staff was very nice and the breakdast was good. The breakfast was an extra daily charge above the Expedia price for the room.

we only stayed here one night but wished it was longer. it is very close to a metro station and with helpful clear instructions from reception staff we saw a lot of Madrid. leaving early to catch our plane there was complimentary coffee, juice and pastries available if we had wanted. we also had one dinner here which was much better than we had hoped.

Great place to stay

A one nighter stay but worth every minute of it. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiters were excellent. Our room with the private yard was very comfortable.

They seem a little understaffed, maybe that's why the staff are so disgruntled and grumpy - they acted like I owed them something. Rooms are dated and cleanliness can be improved. I also found out an AC knob thermostat still exists in this day and age. Our room facing the main door is noisy mostly due to traffic. Only thing great is the location of the hotel and a rather pleasant neighbourhood
