Great service and friendly staff. Dog friiendly and staff accommodated us to a more out of the way room as my dog can get triggered by footsteps in the middle of the night. Clean rooms and great location. We will return.

The room was very clean and passed my wife's inspection! 😁. It was well decorated and all the appliances worked well. The breakfast was very good, with good options, though no black pudding, in Lancashire!. Items were regularly refilled and of good quality. What stood out to me, as a retired caterer, was the teamwork by all the staff, both back and front of house, to ensure tables were regularly cleared and cleaned so new guests could enjoy their breakfasts. Well done to all, really enjoyed our brief visit.

Breakfast was very easy but the coffee was dreadful - we all expect much better these days i'm afraid. Parking good. Rooms a little old fashioned, but clean. Only 3 plugs and none of them near the bed - we all need to charge our phones. Staff were so friendly, nothing too much trouble.
