"The owners, Dennis and Jeannette, are hands-down the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had—and we rent often! Booking, check in, and check out were very easy, and Jeanette communicated with us every step. The space was the perfect size for just the two of us, and exactly what we were looking for: a cozy, well-kept space that wasn’t an oversized house but still had everything we needed.The property is beautifully maintained, and the dock had plenty of space for our boat. Our golden retriever had the time of her life jumping off the dock, chasing sticks in the water, and getting some snuggles from the owners. We came looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly, boat-friendly getaway for our anniversary, and this place delivered in every way. We can’t wait to plan our next visit. "
"Upon check-in we were greeted by Shena with a big smile and friendly, fantastic attitude. We were a family of 14 driving from Albany NY on our way to Myrtle Beach. It's our annual vacation and we stay at this hotel every year. Our TV remote control needed batteries and Shena happily brought them to our room and installed them. She also told us if there's anything we need, to just let her know. This was by far our best experience at this hotel. The only issue was the lack of working ice machines. The first floor machine was unplugged, and the only working machine was located on the fourth floor. "

"Had a great time swimming, skiing, tubing, kayaking at this property. House was perfect for us. Decor was very nice and kitchen has everything we needed. We really appreciated how well supplied it was. Two refrigerators was nice so we didn’t have to grocery shop so often. We loved the blackstone and grill as we cooked out every evening. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We definitely look forward to returning to this property again. "
"Wow! We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well-stocked, and storage is labeled for functionality. Bernie has a eye for details as noticed throughout the house. All was is good working order. The water pressure is excellent. I loved the old school washer that actually uses water as opposed to the new HE washers. The dyer has a squeak for a few minutes until it warms up but no worries....shutting the laundry room door helps. Bernie is excellent with communication! She answered ALL of my many questions. If she didn't know the answer, she found the answer. She informed us about a short internet outage one evening. We were too busy playing and hadn't noticed. I highly recommend renting this property. You will not regret it! Thank you, Bernie, for a really good time and sharing your home. "

"This was a great property! Beautiful and spacious enough for our family of four. Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. I didn’t ask where it was and 2. We were busy and didn’t stay in too much. All in all, No complaints. Would definitely stay again!Thanks for having us!"
"Room was nice. Looked like it was newly renovated. Price was good. Only problem was the a/c in the breakfast room seemed to be not working. Very hot and uncomfortable during breakfast "

"Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! "
