It is a perfect escape for a honeymoon, romantic long weekends, retirement and OAP short breaks. There is something for everyone. The inviting waves rhythmically land onto the expansive, soft sand beach, in a moon shaped World Heritage bay, with dramatic cliffs and heather and the majestic and magical castle standing proud. Everything you could possibly want or need from a holiday rental was provided at Cockleshell Cottage. Sue has thought about every detail to make your stay as comfortable and ‘as like home’ as possible. The views and location are unbeatable- I cannot recommend this property highly enough and I can see why people keep going back!
Our hosts, Sue and Simon, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We were greeted with a refrigerator containing local food (cheeses, eggs, meats, creams and more) fresh loaf of bread, wonderful bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Who could ask for a more lovely beginning.
Had a brilliant stay at this cottage .Sue left us wih a lovely meal , just popped it in the oven ,and a bottle of wine in the fridge ,above and beyond. She was easy to contact and very helpful. The view was amazing and we would highly recommend this cottage .

Stunning
Really lovely place - fantastic views, clean and comfortable.
Owner super helpful and went way beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Didn’t want to leave!
Stunning outlook from the living room which is situated on the upper floor to maximise the views, really relaxing place to chill out, open the doors when it’s warm and take it all in. Easy access to some amazing food in the village and plenty to do in the local area even in the winter season. Had a great time here and would heartily recommend
I was looking for a place where I could relax, chill and go for walks with me dog, I got all this and so much more from this cottage, Sue is a fantastic host and provided me with a delicious home cooked meal on arrival. Everything was thought of and I will most certainly be looking to stay here again next year.
