“Awesome property!! Beautiful house! Could not have ask for anything more!! Great for civil war insuitust, like our family!! 4 grandkids age 11- 21, not once did they watch TV!! To busy out side exploring, swinging and rowboating! Everyone has a fantastic time, beautiful memories!! Awesome place and host!! Highly recommend!!”

“Our family enjoyed staying here when our extended family camped at Corodus instead of tenting. It was near enough to park that it wasn't an issue traveling back and forth. The house was VERY clean. Window ac worked well. Having a washer/dryer plus detergent was a nice bonus. Also having all linens and paper supplies, soaps , etc. supplied was very beneficial. Having coffee,tea,hot chocolate station was nice. Communication with host was great before, during, and after. Also, having a……

“The Happy Hen was the perfect spot for my wife and I and our two children, aged 10 and 6. Minutes away from the battlefield, with a very convenient Dollar General just down the road, the HH was cozy and delightful. We intend to stay again in the future.”
