“Good: Unique, historic, good location. Surrounding places within walking distance were good. Not Good: No staff at check in, which for us was late due to airline delays) but we did use messaging to let Brickhouse know. Still, very dark, and no person available when we got there. Would have been helpful to know which of the three front doors to go to to use codes. But its was trial and error in the dark. Paid extra for am breakfast that was cold and not appealing.”

“We started our stay by having lunch in the restaurant. The beer they brew on site was very very good as was the food and the service. Our room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. The only negative was our experience in the pub they have in the basement. It was a mediocre experience. So we recommend the hotel based on our experience with everything except the pub. Plenty of free parking as well”

Other than that it was great......the pool area looked inviting but didn't get a chance to swim.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an……
