“I didn't like that they did not clean the room after we spend the night there. The toilet was not working well, but my husband fixed it. The manager was willing to fix it , but my husband did.”

“We started our stay by having lunch in the restaurant. The beer they brew on site was very very good as was the food and the service. Our room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. The only negative was our experience in the pub they have in the basement. It was a mediocre experience. So we recommend the hotel based on our experience with everything except the pub. Plenty of free parking as well”

“OK, place to stay if you have very low expectations. The staff was not helpful at all, offered to send my wife to Walmart to get quarters for their laundry room. TV remote did not work, TV was too small. The guy upfront was terrible who checked us in. Didn’t seem to know anything. For a family of four, there was no place to hang towels in the bathroom. We ate at the Oak room as well and had terrible service there. Orders were wrong, we had to ask for more water after our glasses sat empty for……

“It was dirty and smelly. I tried to exercise in the exercise room, but the amenities where broken.”

“It was a nice enough clean hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The first time I went to use the pool I couldn't bring myself to get in because of hair, bugs, spit and other stuff floating on the surface. I went to the desk and asked if the filter was broken and the young man went immediately and cleaned to pool himself and reset the filter. From there on out the pool was beautiful, if a little chilly. Breakfast was available, but was the same every day. Scrambled egg discs, slightly……

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an……
