“The house accommodated my large group very well! We had everything we needed. Upper Silver Lake was great for young kids and then we had Lake Michigan a short drive away for older swimmers. We did have some warm weather so it was hot at night upstairs, but we would definitely come back! Great location! ”

Check in was extremely easy, but for me the best part was minimal check out requirements which made my morning less stressful. “We loved it. Big house plenty of room for 3 families. Beautiful views, beach, water toys kept kids busy. A few broken things as expected in a rental but all agree cleanliness was great. Was a little bummed about late 5pm check in. Ben is very accommodating and great communication. We would love to return next year. ”

“The location couldn't be better! We enjoyed the fireworks on the dunes for on the 4th. Beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the water, sand, sun, and just being together. The owner is quick to respond to any questions and take care of any issue. We definitely recommend this vacation rental.”

“Unique 1960s motel with updated features and decor. Staff was very nice. A beautiful outside sitting area with a large koi pond. Convenient to Carferry and downtown. Stayed in a large 2 room King suite which was clean and it had all of the amenities. Small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, sink, and some dishware. Bathroom was small, but that’s how they used to be back in the day. Other two rooms were very large.”

“Ventura Motel was the perfect place for us to crash after working the Suds on the Shore beer festival! It was clean, comfy, and very walkable from the fest and to all the fun downtown stuff. Would stay here again. ”
