There were some nice updates to the room/furnishings, bed was comfy but all the listing for this location highlight a pool, which is empty, and non functional according to the newish owners who said it has been non operational for years before they bought the property. Other than that for a budget motel it was better than most. I would stay again.

The room was decent and the guy at the desk was very friendly. The area was kind of sketchy so we didn't feel very safe. Parking wasn't that great either. However, the room was okay for what we needed.

AMAZING PLACE 💯

First off...WOW! The rooms are AAMMAAZZIINNGG!! It kind of gives off a homey vibe, meaning that it feels as if its an actual room inside a home). I love how the room is very big and open, the sink isnt in the bathroom, the bathroom has a window in there, and me, being a girl, really appreciates how theres a big body mirror. Its a great place all around. Check-in is a breeze. The owner and his wife are so friendly, extremely nice, and they do an exquisite job running, maintaining and keeping Sunset Inn very clean.

A good 2 star place to rest and shower.

Place is old but clean. Room has a refrigerator, tv and a microwave. Shower has no soap or shampoo so bring your own. Air conditioning is cold and loud enough to drown any noise. Bed is ok but when you’re tired it is work. Floor is hard no carpet. Parking lot is well lit and clean of garbage and no homeless people around. Pool is empty when I was there and ice machine and vending machine is outside.
