“While in town attending Suny Cobleskill graduation, we were looking for a property nearby. This farmhouse fit the bill. It was neaty decorated and the host was very gracious in leaving some treats for us at check in. There were plenty of beds to sleep my whole family.”

We had a chance to check out the historic John Burroughs site (what a view!) and bought fresh farm produce and meats at a nearby D & D Farm. Geoffrey and Powell has everything you would need during the stay in a top notch shape.”

“The pictures do not do this home justice. The house is just beautiful, roomy, and plenty of beds and rooms. Everything in the home is clean, fairly new, well stocked, and working well. Strangely enough there is no microwaves but that didn't effect us at all because we had a professional cook with our group. There was nothing we needed in the home that we had to go get. “We rented this house over Thanksgiving 2022 for a large group (8 adults & 4 teenagers). We also cooked TG dinner at the house. The hosts are exceptionally nice and accommodating. The house itself is huge. There are multiple smaller lounging rooms for a large group to relax in. The living room and kitchen have spectacular view over a lake with the Catskills too.
