Beachfront At Bicheno

Beachfront At Bicheno

10/10 Excellent
"Pool was closed. It was the middle of winter so most people probably wouldn't want to swim in it anyway (was reasonably warm), but it was filled with water so that's at least a possibility and it annoys me a great deal when stuff is listed on a site and not functional so I wanted to note it. Great stay other than that."

"All was in order as usual as a returning guest to the Hotel Grand Chancellor. Perhaps, and only a minor point a few more 'handicapped' designated parking spots could be made available?, during my stay I did see a number of guests that could avail of such dedicated parking spots, as I found there was was only one in the entire carpark"

Village Family Motor Inn

Village Family Motor Inn

8/10 Good
"My son and I stayed at the Motor Inn for 4 nights. The room itself had quite a bit of space in it with two beds - one queen & the other single. The bed that I slept on was unfortunately a bit hard & made my back sore. There was also power points but not enough next to the beds. Two little bed side tables were a great idea. There was also a small table & 2 chairs and tea making facilities with kettle & toaster. The shower was slightly temperamental but once adjusted the temperature was great. It would have been nice if the toilet roll holder was placed in a better location as everytime I used it I had to twist my body and the metal holder would fall off. Then hence I was continually reach to pick it up from the floor. Our bin was overflowing as no one came to change it. It was quite noisy as our room was located right at the back of the inn. One morning a truck came at about 5.30 am & made a crashing sound and woke us up. My son & I enjoyed the pool and spa which were both nice and warm. Each Room had it's own vertical parking which was enough for our hired vehicle. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back thanks."
