“The place is very clean, the manager very responsive to any questions, always available. It was a little pricey for what you get. Bathroom and shower small. Nice location, close to town. The view is beautiful and have lots of seating outside. The only bad thing is they have awful fragrance diffusers plugged in. The smell gave me a headache! Please refrain from using these, they give off toxins, full of synthetic fragrances. Maybe use something like fresh wave instead, a non toxic air……

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back!”

“Very well equipped, although we had no washcloths and not enough toilet paper. The problems were quickly solved with a phone call. We are older and the front steps were awkward for us. The little narrow step into “the hut” was an easy stumble.”

“Peaceful. Quiet. Fun. Beautiful overlook to the lake. Exceptional privacy. Great value. Dog friendly. Easy access to town. Deck was convenient with gas grill and blackstone cooking. Garage was filled with lake equipment. Nice dock and not another person on the lake all weekend. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. We will definitely be back. ”

These cabins were perfect for our stay! They were like new and very clean. The host replied very quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfy and overall the stay was great. “Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. ”
