"Book early for the summer, as they get sold out! Rightly so, as the rooms are clean, recently remodeled, and the water park is fantastic for the kids to run out their energy and adults to relax poolside or in the indoor-outdoor hot tub! The staff is so kind and helpful, they make it easy to relax. The continental breakfast is good - there's a waffle maker, so that's a step-up from most other hotels, and lots of other options, including boiled eggs and yogurt for protein options. Highly...
"There was no soap inside the dispenser in the shower!Shamppo and conditioner were ok level to use.
The shower curtain bracket was installed incorrectly, there are tabs on the metal bar that were upside down, so the curtain didn't stay stable, thus plenty of shower water went onto the floor around shower basin....I built a lot of stuff like furniture, homes in my day, so i figure things out when issues arise. "The best thing about this hotel is the location, it's walkable to everything. The hotel itself is in poor condition. Our room smelled, the shower had black mildew or mold all around the bottom, it looked gross so we didn't even use it. Bedding had stains, window sill was caked with dirt. We were so turned off by the state of the hotel that we didn't go for the breakfast. We were out and about most the time and literally only slept there."
"Whole resort and room very clean. Nice continental breakfast. Very nice staff. Nice place for boat slips/docks
We always stay here when we visit Minocqua."
