"My experience at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. I would like to extend special appreciation to Monica, whose outstanding professionalism and kindness truly stood out. After I inadvertently left my wedding rings in my room, she located them immediately, arranged secure shipment back to me, provided tracking information, and remained consistently responsive throughout the entire process. Her dedication and care were truly remarkable. The hotel itself is immaculate, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms offer a beautiful blend of old-world charm and modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and comfortable. The property’s location is ideal—centrally situated and within easy reach of nearby attractions. The square facing the hotel is picturesque and includes a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire feature, perfect for enjoying an evening beverage or a warm coffee or tea. Breakfast each morning was excellent, offering a variety of options, fresh fruit, and consistently high-quality coffee. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again."

"Fantastic hotel, located right in the historic district of Lisbon and close to many great restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet+a la carte menu was a highlight- the food was delicious and the coffee was great too. The staff of the hotel were super friendly and did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. The spa was top tier as well- the massages were professional and relaxing. "

"Without question, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Ever member of the staff was warm, professional and very courteous. The rooftop bar offers some of the best views in the city and the hotel offers more amenities that we were able to take advantage of. Besides the rooftop, I especially loved the quiet lounge on the first floor overlooking the city street. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious with very attentive staff. Our final dinner was at the BAHR restaurant (same location as breakfast) and was one to remember. The quality of the food and the service was among the best we have EVER experienced. It was wonderful to have a clear view of the kitchen and see the staff prepare each plate was such skill and precision. Our many thanks to the entire Bairro Alto staff for a truly remarkable visit to Lisbon and this wonderful hotel. "
