Le Consulat Hotel perfectly blends history, trendiness, and chic style. Centrally located in Lisbon, it offers the convenience of exploring the city on foot, with numerous eateries and shopping stores just a stone's throw away. The highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. Their extensive knowledge of Lisbon was invaluable, helping us navigate the city with ease. They assisted us in choosing restaurants, arranging excursions, and even organized our airport pickup. What stood out the most was their genuine care for our experience. Le Consulat, your staff deserves a raise for their exceptional service and professionalism. Thank you for making our first visit to Lisbon truly memorable. We look forward to returning.

I would have liked to give this property a higher score but our room smelled like sewage. When we asked about the smell, we were told it was just the building. Other than that, the gaff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and bar area was nice, and a great location. We felt very safe.

the whole hotel had a moldy smell , especially in the room and hallways, balcony was super tiny full of pigeon poop not worth the $$$$ better off staying in a simple place that you can breathe clean air

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Consulate. The location was great. The room overlooking the square was lovely. The hotel is a few blocks to the easy-to-use metro and the tram started at the steps of the hotel. Jahid at the front desk was the best! He had helpful information and is a great guy. We left some items in our room after check out and they contacted us. We will stay there again.

Nice location and cute room. Air conditioning does not cool very well and the whole place is extremely loud. Outside is loud and people outside the doors/hallways are loud. You can hear everything so that was a bit tough. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was not worth the cost and was not very good, limited options and expensive.

The hotel location, our rooms, breakfast, and overall experience of this hotel were outstanding. The greatest asset however, was Jahid, the property manager, as well as the other staff members. Jahid and his staff went out of their way to meet our needs, improve our experiences of Lisbon, and ease our travel requirements. We will sing the praises of Jahid and this hotel to all our traveling friends!

This hotel is in a great central location. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. The room was beautiful, and I definitely recommend booking a room that overlooks the square.

Beautiful restored property in a desirable location. Staff was excellent in getting us settled and offering additional services. The rooms were unique and amazing. We had 2 bedroom apartments that were spacious and well appointed with all the extras - robes, slippers, kitchenette. Would highly recommend

This Boutique Hotel is in the perfect place for discovering Lisbon. It is virtually surrounded by historical monuments, parks, restaurants and shops. In the heart of the city, it fronts an historical square that is the location for the streetcars and TukTuk tours that wind through this fascinating neighborhood. I highly recommend if you want a great hotel with a great staff.

Spacious rooms.Great location except for cable car
The room in this hotel was spacious, however, the cable car was noisy as it was right outside the hotel. In addition, the guests in the room above us were very noisy later at night. This hotel is quite old, so the rooms were not insulated properly and the footsteps of the guests above us were very annoying.

Best Location
Perfect place for us. Clean & friendly, easy to communicate via whatsapp. They even provided ride from airport which made it easy. The hotel has a lounge with a view of the square. Right outside door is tram 28 which everyone wants. Cafes restaurants bars all nearby. Only thing is if noise bothers you its at a main square so its lively. The windows were thick enough that we barely heard noises but if that kind of thing bothers you.

Our stay at Le Consulat
1. Room - we booked a budget double room which was a good size. We got one on the 2nd floor. The room above was making a lot of noise, floorboards creak as someone walks so that was annoying. There is a service room next door, and we could sometimes here the staff talking on phone, even once we had the smell of food coming into our room (via a shared door and thin plasterboard wall between service room and our bedroom?). AC was working on and off, we gave up. Would be good to have a kettle and some tea bags. 2. Property - well located with good connectivity to walking areas and sights. Hotel had no lobby to relax. They have a bar but you cannot sit there without ordering drinks or food. Very old building, beautifully decorated. But old floorboards mean lots of noise disturbance as one can hear people walking outside and even from room above. 3. Staff - warm, friendly, helpful
