Staff was very friendly and helpful, but this place is quite run down. Part of the headboard in our room was missing. Bathtub was stained and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. There was a lot of litter on the property too. It was okay for one night.

The Senator has been around since 1939, and has featured many movie premiers, mainly those of John Waters' and Barry Levinson's. Many of their movies also have squares in front of the theatre.
