“The only thing I would do different, would be to stay longer. The house was fantastic. It was fun, crazy, retro! The wife and daughter loved it! If you're looking for a 5 star hotel/room, this is not it. But, if you want to enjoy a stay like no other, this is a place to experience. The house is about 3/4 mile off the Hwy, down a rough dirt road....... so be prepared for that. Once you arrive at the house, you agree the short little trip on the dirt road is worth it! ”

“This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. It’s in “themiddleofnowhere” 1 1/2 mi down a sand rd off the main hwy in Landers. Here the desert is gridded with these rds, some more passable than others. Back in the day this was a homesteaded area where you got 5 acres and required to build a dwelling at least 400sq ft. This was one of those, I think. The outside looks a bit weather worn but the inside is as cute and functional as can be with everything you need. Know that it def is not the Ritz……

“Everything was exactly what we needed. remote, quiet, secure, very comfortable, easy wifi, great communication with owner. last night, the glowing orange sunset was amazing thru the purple clouds and it sprinkled Mother Natures tears! hope to stay again soon. ”

“It was a cozy and clean home! Definitely want to go back, nice neighborhood, quiet, for a really relax weekend. Big Bear village is like 10 to 15 minutes. Love the place. Recommend for families too! With a beautiful view to the mountains on the main room, with a nice patio! ”

“Perfect for our needs--two friends in the area for some mountain biking. Almost missed finding the 1/2 bath in one of the bedrooms! Nice bonus.”

“Mariam was very responsive, replied within seconds. The house was very clean and nice to stay in. The neighborhood was very nice and clean. I would highly recommend Mariam's place for a vacation. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property! We loved the modern and upgraded feel. There was lots of space! It was lovely to be able to move around with feeling closed in. The master bathroom was beautifully done. It was in a quiet neighborhood with a nice view out of the front. We will definitely be back!”

"I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs with my family for vacation and my experience was quite disappointing. The bathtub in my room was clogged, which made it extremely difficult to take a proper bath. It ended up taking a very long time to shower, which was very frustrating. To make matters worse, my family members who stayed in a separate room also experienced similar issues with their bathtub. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected better maintenance and attention to such basic amenities. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their facilities to provide a better experience for future guests."
