"This was our 3rd or 4th year staying here for the tennis tournament. This year however was pretty different. In the past inwould give it a 5/5, easy. This year, they changed a few things. For one, there is no breakfast included anymore. They also now charge $25 per night. They also didnt have live music at all during the 4 nights we were there. Little things, but they add up. We love this property, location, views, etc. But these little changes were a bummer. "

"Wow, where to even begin... Minna was so wonderful at communicating. Then when we arrived the place was so much more than i could've imagined! The I ictures dont do it justice. The decor is stunning and all of the appliances, bedding, furniture, hot tub, accommodations are top notch. No expense was spared in designing this place. Then the "yard"... goodness. You dont need to leave the property to have an amazing hike (steep, but beautiful) with some groomed trails and streams on both sides. The property bumps against yhe national forest and you could just walk forever. This stay was serene and beautiful and cozy. I never left the entire stay. There was no need. Great way to unwind from the fast pace of life outside this mountain sanctuary. "

"Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Our room was spacious and attractive, and the property is quiet and peaceful. One suggestion would be to add a second chair and maybe an end table in the TV viewing area in our room because there is a nice amount of space for two people to sit. The location is within easy drives to Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs. We stayed four nights and enjoyed out time at Onsen Hotel very much. We did not use any of the spa services, so I can't comment on those. "

"Toilet wouldn't fully flush on its own, I needed to help it out by using the trash can filled with water to dump it while it’s flushing for water to go down. Automatic lights in entry and bathroom kept turning on and off all night. This was a terrible idea folks. We thankfully only stayed one night and didn't find out of all these issues until we were in for the night so I didn't tell them until the next morning at check out. Front desk said he would refund the resort fee which was nice. I hope they remove those stupid automatic lights. "

"They need to find a pressure washer and clean the sidewalks and walkways. Filthy. I don't think the elevator has ever been cleaned. Nasty and it is the first thing you see if you aren't on the first floor. The rooms seemed clean, a bit outdated but ok. The pool and spa's were wonderful. The STAFF was the best part of the hotel. The restaurant was ok too. "
