"We stayed here while riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone in our group to relax after a long day of riding. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but work called us back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a trail trip in West Virginia!We will be back to stay again!"

"Property was clean and conveniently located to the ATV trails. It had everything 8 guys could need for an ATV trip. The hose out front came in handy to clean off after a days ride. Another reviewer commented that grocery stores were not close and that was accurate as we found it to be about 25 minutes from a Walmart and groups of stores and restaurants. No fault whatsoever of the host, just load up on food or plan on driving a bit to a real store. Thumbs up!! We all said we would rent this place again"

"Very convenient location, close to Rock House and Devil Anse systems. We had a power outage our first night and Gary stopped in to check that we were okay and see if we needed more batteries for the provided lanterns. Just a note, when the power is out, the wifi obviously goes, too, and cell service though both Verizon and AT&T is nonexistent until you get closer to the gas station on 44 and 52. Well equipped cabin! It's nice to sit on the back porch and listen to the creek, or light a fire with the provided wood and roast some s'mores (chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows provided!) Bring your clothes and some groceries and you're set for your stay."

"We truly felt like we were at home, from the second we walked in. Danny and Sheila are wonderful people. We had everything we needed and more. Sheila, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and you have thought every single detail out. I will never stay anywhere else when I come home. I slept like a baby and the cabin is very peaceful. Maybe next time, we will be able to fish longer and not get rained out. We will be referring your cabin to all of our friends and family. May God bless you both! "

"Our family rented this little VRBO for the weekend in order to attend Rock the Country 2025. It was myself, my husband, my son and his fiancee. It was about an hour from the concert venue, but was super quaint and perfect for what we needed.The property owners were extremely communicative and friendly. The cabin was clean and smelled good. It was stocked with dishes, towels, and a refrigerator, so you don't need to bring anything extra. There are train tracks right next to the cabin and it can get quite loud, however, I don't recall hearing any after 10pm at night and before 8am, but, it could be because we were all so tired from the concert each night :) The store about five minutes before you arrive can be skipped- just go to Walmart if you need anything. We bought milk there and cereal for the kids and both were bad (cereal out of date and milk was in date but curdled upon opening) Walmart was 15 min away. "

"Our stay was great!! The owners were right next door and was very accommodating. It’s behind the bowling alley which was a win. The house was fantastic. It’s was super clean and had plenty of towels. It’s located very close to buffalo mt trail system. All in all it’s was the perfect place to stay. "

"It was a little cabin up on a hill. Very nice an cute. The small bridge to get to the house is a doozie for a 40ft trailer. But we got it lol the people living there are amazing and help any way they can! Will b back! With a shorter trailer too lol "

"Hosts treated us like family! Place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds were great, had all the essentials, and was right on the river. Covered porch and side porch were great to relax on when the rains came thru. Overall great stay here, and would absolutely book again! Elisha is one of the best hosts I've ever interacted with! She helped us out with a number of things that came up on our end and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of! "

"Property was as described but the description about plenty of room for parking was misleading. We had a 44 ft fifth wheel and without expertise driving you won't get your rig near the house. The turns are too sharp and tight in either direction of the road. We had to go past the road up to the hospital on the top of the hill all the way around to get the rig turned around to come back down the hill to get up the the road to the front of the house. When we left we had the back back down the road out onto the other Road to get out. Everything everybody else has said and all of the reviews are very accurate. We definitely enjoyed our stay but we were a group of 12 with four different trucks and trailers and parking was very challenging. Two of the rigs had to be parked on a different block below the house and we had to put our trust into the neighborhood and community that nothing would happen to them, and fortunately nothing did. "
