My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at Maurrocks. Very nice friendly atmosphere created by two outstanding persons, Tom and Maureen. They really made our entire trip. Can't say enough about the way Tom and Maureen made us feel right at home. Our Yellow Room was clean and comfortable. Living room with fireplace and dining area are amazing. Real gem! Hope to get there again.

Poconos Perfection!

Cozy living room with fireplace, clean spacious room, delicious home baked food and many beverage options, warm gracious hosts with helpful suggestions for sightseeing and hiking, gentle lovely dogs if you want to interact with them, quiet area, One of the best BandB's I have stayed in!

Charming cozy home full of antique furniture and related decor. Comfortable sofas for reading and relaxing. We were greeted by Tom who gave us a tour of the home stocked with every thing a traveler would need (24/7 drinks and snacks, etc). Chocolate banana scones! Full breakfast in the am. Tom and Maureen are salt of the earth. The most gracious hosts that treat you like family. Clean and cozy quarters with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts were prepared to perfection. Between Tom’s cooking skills and Maureen’s baking, you are in for a treat. Their “co-host” dogs are all well behaved and very gentle. Highly recommended this B&B. Thank you Tom and Maureen- we’ll be back!

We were greeted warmly by the owner. He offered information about the area, catered to our interests. We enjoyed a glass of wine over an outdoor firepit, and then returned inside to another indoor fire on a cool fall evening. They showed us around our room and told us about the area. Offered restaurant and attractions in the area. We will 💯 return if the occasion presents itself.

We stayed with Maureen and Tom for two nights last week to do some hiking in the area. Their B&B is very comfortable. Maureen and Tom are both helpful and gracious hosts. They are both EXCELLENT cooks! Their breakfast was off the charts!! Their dogs are well behaved and friendly. Absolutely no issues with having them around. We enjoyed petting them and getting to know them. We'll be back! Thank you Maureen & Tom.

Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!
