"Charming budget hotel with a number of features. Bar operated at the checkin counter. Nice lounge area, gymnasium, ping pong table and a rooftop patio overlooking the city. Best breakfast in Norway. Highly recommended. "
"Convenient location that is 1 block away from the pier.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
There was a heat wave during our visit and there is no AC in the rooms. The window in our room only cracked open a little bit but they did give us some fans.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of options for all!
Room itself was clean, beds were comfortable."
"Great stay just outside the heart of Bergen's Bryggen area, right next to the fortress. We had no view out the window, but the business category room was a good size and bathroom very large for Europe. We also appreciated having laundry available (washer and dryer) on site, for a fee, for hotel guests. The building has no air conditioning, which was an issue when we stayed due to the July heatwave, but the front desk let us borrow a small fan which at least provided a tiny bit of moving air in the room."
"The breakfast was absolutely fantastic- can’t remember the last time I had such a comprehensive and delicious breakfast included with my room! My room was clean and quiet even though I was on a lower floor facing the street. Staff did a great job managing record heat by outfitting each room with fans. Desk staff was kind. Steps to fish market and funicular. Parking directly across the street should it be needed. "
