“A wonderful pet friendly hotel in the heart of Grasmere. It was decorated beautifully, and the room we had was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of cooked options and a buffet style breakfast too (not to mention the dog got a sausage every morning!). Our only feedback would be that our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, though it was only three nights. It would’ve been good to have the mugs and water jug refreshed, however I’m sure if we’d asked this would’ve……

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”
