"Parking out the front of the hotel so easy access. It looks out to the water and boardwalk. Short drive to town Staff were a mix, lady on reception pushy on trips and booking with her. We had no intention. Bar staff lovely and attentive The room we had #1 was right at the front, so you could hear all the news from the bar, road and generally noisy and not very private. Book a standard room if you are staying, not worth the extra money. "

"Location is one of the only things going for this lodge. It’s just by the gate to get into Sossusvlei. Staff are rude and inattentive. You get allocated a table for dinner but difficult to get attention to order drinks or to clear away your plates. It’s all buffet service so plenty of choice. They cater for bus loads of groups and not individuals. Found the bar staff rude and dismissive. Lunch options are poor, and you can’t order an à la carte lunch till after 2.30 and then limited options. We ended going to the garage a short walk away. "

"My stay at Beach Hotel Swakopmund was one of the best hotels I've stayed at during all of my travels! From the staff at the front desk with exceptional professional and kind service, to the staff in the restaurant and definitely the room cleaning staff, I cannot say enough how comfortable, safe and welcomed I felt. My stay was absolutely fantastic! The food in the restaurant was fresh daily. My room was thoroughly cleaned daily and the front desk staff both day and night were always attentive to meet my daily needs and answer any questions I had. I will definitely be returning to stay in this hotel again! I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, cleanliness, safety, proximity to tourist excursions and the exceptional, kind and professional treatment you will receive from the staff.
